Armatec designs and manufactures a range of survivability products to meet the needs of customers worldwide. These products include external appliqué armour kits, internal and external composite mine protection systems, RPG-fencing (to protect against rocket-propelled grenades), spall liners, and a range of seating systems to protect vehicle occupants against ballistic penetrations and the effects of mines, shaped charges and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Armatec engineers are experienced in incorporating combinations of the company’s products into existing vehicles as well as new platforms to meet specific customer requirements. The company utilizes advanced light-weight composite materials in all of its survivability systems in order to minimize weight.
