CAPABILITIES
The ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) department works closely with Armatec Survivability’s engineering designers in addition to the customer to ensure that a total life-cycle management approach is considered during the design through development of systems.
From the earliest stages of conceptual design, the ILS team works to provide a dependable and easily maintainable product through the development of key data such as: FMECA (Failure, Mode, Effect, and Criticality Analysis), Reliability Predictions such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTA (Maintenance Task Analysis) and LORA (Level of Repair Analysis). These various analyses ensure that the whole life cycle cost of the product is kept to a minimum, while product availability is at a maximum.
Armatec Survivability’s ILS department also develops data with regards to PHS&T (Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation), Disposal reports, Obsolescence management and development of technical publications which include illustrated parts catalogues, maintenance manuals from 1st line to depot level, and operators manuals in both hard and soft copy formats.
