The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Department works closely with customers to sustain all Armatec’s products throughout their lifecycle. The ILS team is also the key link in ensuring customer feedback contributes to continuous product improvement. With its motto of “Every Part Matters,” ILS is responsible for technical documentation, spare parts availability, and configuration management. It also provides maintenance support and training support to help customers integrate Armatec’s products into their armoured vehicle systems and logistics networks.
From the earliest stages of the procurement process the ILS department works to provide the customer with an efficient and cost-effective system of total life-cycle management. This includes feedback to Armatec’s Engineering team to ensure parts are designed for optimal reliability and ease of maintenance. ILS also works with the customer to develop comprehensive parts catalogues, operator instructions and maintenance manuals in hard copy and digital formats.
The department also works with customers to develop repair kits tailored to the needs of operators in the field as well as all levels of maintenance up to and including Depot.
